TotalEnergies and Eni discovered gas at Block 6 offshore Cyprus

Zeus 1 is the 5th consecutive discovery in the Cyprus EEZ since 2011, when the Noble Energy drilling rig discovered the Aphrodite field in Block 12.
Total Energy s and Eni have discovered a new gas field based on the results of drilling the Zeus-1 well at Block 6 offshore Cyprus, the press services of the companies reported.
This discovery followed the discoveries of Calypso-1 and Cronos-1, made on the same block in February 2018 and August 2022, respectively.
Zeus-1 was drilled at block 6 162 km from the coastline at a depth of 2300 m.
